ESG Advisory Committee
We understand that our investment decisions today have lasting consequences for client portfolios, society and the generations of tomorrow.
We have developed a framework to integrate appropriate ESG protocols and procedures into our process. ESG considerations are embedded in our investment analysis and credit assessment.
These considerations enable us to assess the environmental and social impact of our counterparties to ensure they are committed to sustainable building practices and smart technology integration for long-term, positive impacts.
We will seek appropriate disclosure on ESG issues from the entitles to which we lend.
The independently-chaired ESG Advisory Committee will provide advice to the various Zagga Sub-Committees on all matters relating to Responsible Investment and Sustainable Finance in the commercial real estate market.
We have documented Zagga’s approach to ESG and sustainable business practices across a number of policies and we will continue to review best practice approaches, particularly in the CRED and investment management markets.

Peter Clare
Peter is a financial services industry icon with many years of leadership and executive experience heading up a number of leading financial institutions including Commonwealth Bank, Westpac and St George. Most recently, Peter was CEO of Westpac New Zealand Limited, a division of Westpac Banking Corporation Limited.
Peter is active in the leadership of Australia's fintech scene currently serving as Chairman of Zagga Group and ChimpChange Limited (CCA.AX), as well as holding directorships with Rubik Financial Limited (RFL.AX), Scottish Pacific Group Limited (SCO.AX), Digicash and Capital Market Technologies.
Peter is a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and the Governance Institute of Australia, and a fellow of CPA Australia and the Financial Services Institute of Australasia (FINSIA).

Frank Hageali
Frank is a Certified Property Practitioner and Funds Manager by the Australian Property Institute, a Certified Practicing Valuer by Australian Values Institute, and is a Fellow of the Australasian Institute of Banking and finance.
With a career in the finance and property industry spanning 25 years, his previous roles include Senior and Management positions in Corporate, Institutional and Property divisions at Australia’s major financial Institutions including Commonwealth Bank, ANZ, St.George Bank as well as HBOSA.
Mr Hageali holds a Bachelor of Economics from Western Sydney University, Masters in Property Investment and Development from Western Sydney University and a Graduate Diploma of Property (Valuation) from Deakin University.
