Our team comprises of high calibre individuals who are professional, experienced and dedicated to the success of the business. Alan Greenstein

CEO & Co-Founder

Alan practised for a short time as a solicitor, prior to embarking on a more than 30-year career in banking and finance, mostly as a C-suite executive in two publicly listed banking groups. He has worked in the UK, South Africa and Australia and has consulted widely to owner-managed businesses across strategy, technology and operations. Alan’s entrepreneurial pursuits include being co-founder of a Sydney-based family office investment advisory business and developing a home loan over the phone business for a large Australian insurer. Alan co-founded Zagga in 2016 and has held the CEO role since inception.

“Since our first loan investment in 2017, we have demonstrated to our investors the value of including CRED-type alternative investments in their investment portfolios. These investments are typically non-correlated to equity markets, can be inflation-proof, and deliver consistent and sustainable annuitized returns well above bank deposit rates without a commensurate increase in risk.”

Kevin's significant business acumen, personal skills, and knowledge are of enormous value to Zagga.

Edwin is a lawyer with 20 years banking and litigation experience. After the Global Financial Crises Edwin worked with significant listed companies seeking to recover a number of impaired loans requiring Court intervention, direct mortgagee sales, and sales by High Courts of New Zealand. This experience was at the forefront of the thinking behind the Zagga’s organisational development. Edwin is currently the managing partner of K3 Legal Ltd, a multi-disciplinary law firm based in Auckland, New Zealand. Edwin usually acts in complex cases as both lead counsel or in support of senior counsel.

Starting his own first business at the age of 17, Michael ventured out to build a successful career as a stockbroker at a large US brokerage before taking up the reins as director, and then subsequently CEO, of a large family enterprise. In 2008, Michael founded “Jemstep”, a ground-breaking “robo-technology” company that successfully automated investment recommendations in the wealth management field.
